Woman arrested over fatal gun attack in Sligo town
Gardaí in Sligo have arrested a young woman in connection with the fatal shooting of a 23-year-old man in the town over the weekend.
Sam Smith was shot a number of times after answering a call to his front door on Carroll Drive in the Cranmore area last Friday night.
He died from his injuries on Saturday evening.
The woman being questioned about the killing was arrested in Sligo last night.
