Ireland's Damien McGrane is in a tie for second place at the China Open after carding an opening-round 68 this morning.

Ireland's Damien McGrane is in a tie for second place at the China Open after carding an opening-round 68 this morning.

McGrane is one of a large group of golfers on four-under-par, one shot adrift of early leader Michael Lorenzo-Vera.

Elsewhere, Gary Murphy and Graeme McDowell were both one-over-par after 14 holes and 13 holes respectively, while Peter Lawrie was five over after 17 holes.
