Man dies in Co Leitrim road accident

A 32-year old man was killed in a road accident in Co Leitrim in the early hours of this morning.

A 32-year old man was killed in a road accident in Co Leitrim in the early hours of this morning.

The single vehicle accident occurred at Dooard, Rossinver, Co. Leitrim at about 4.30am when a car went out of control and struck a ditch, killing the driver.

He was the sole occupant of the car.

Gardai from Manorhamilton attended the scene.

The name of the victim has not yet been released.
