McGuinness: Irish Government is failing nationalists

The Sinn Fein negotiator, Martin McGuinness has accused the Irish Government of failing to defend the rights of nationalists in the North.

The Sinn Fein negotiator, Martin McGuinness has accused the Irish Government of failing to defend the rights of nationalists in the North.

He said that Dublin had declared that negotiations to break the impasse in the peace process were over, while Sinn Fein was still pressing for more changes on policing, justice and for an end to the British government's power to suspend the assembly and executive.

Mr. McGuinness was speaking at the republican party's second day of the Ard Fheis.
