Colombia releases missing Irishman

The Irishman, who was detained by Colombia's military has been released.

It has emerged that he has apparently been reported missing for seven and a half years.

According to the Missing Irish People website www.missing.ws Kevin Crennan has been missing since January 1994.

Colombian authorities ruled out any connection between the Abbeyleix man and three other suspected IRA men arrested on August 11.
