A man’s body was recovered from a river in the North today.

A man’s body was recovered from a river in the North today.

It was found in the Arney River in Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh, after a member of the public raised the alarm last night.

It was believed to have been in the water for a considerable time and a post mortem was being carried to establish both the identity of the victim and the cause of death.

A police spokeswoman said that at this stage a crime was not suspected.
