An investigation is underway after a number of shots were fired at a house in Dublin last night.

An investigation is underway after a number of shots were fired at a house in Dublin last night.

The incident happened in the Glenties Drive area of Finglas at approximately 10pm.

A number of people were in the house at the time but no one was injured. The front door of the premises was damaged during the incident.

The scene remains sealed off this morning while Gardaí carry out an investigation.

It is understood a high-powered motorcycle was on the road at the time which Gardaí believe may be linked.
