A lone raider is believed to have escaped with a sum of cash from the National Irish Bank in Cork today.

A lone raider is beloved to have escaped with a sum of cash from the National Irish Bank in Cork today.

The robbery took place shortly before 4pm today at the bank branch on Cork's South Mall.

It's believed the man was armed with a firearm. It's unclear yet how much the man has escaped with.
