French communities in Cork and Dublin have taken part in walks of solidarity with the victims of the Paris attacks.
Hundreds gathered at the Spire on O'Connell Street to take part in the walk to Leinster House in Dublin where they sang the French National Anthem and paused in a minute silence.
In Cork, French and Cork residents walked from Bishop Lucey park to Cork City hall.
One French woman at this afternoon's vigil in Dublin explained how she was affected by yesterday's atrocities in Paris.
She said: "We have friends that were in the music venue last night, we have three friends still missing.
"Some of them managed to escape, we know that, but we have three friends who we don’t know anything about yet."
