Man, 20, held after airport cocaine seizure

A 20-year-old man was arrested at Dublin Airport today after customs officers seized cocaine with an estimated street value of €350,000 euros.

A 20-year-old man was arrested at Dublin Airport today after customs officers seized cocaine with an estimated street value of €350,000.

A garda spokesman confirmed the man was detained after he was found to be in possession of three kilos of the drug.

It is understood the drugs were concealed in a false compartment of a suitcase.

The suspect was arrested under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act and was being questioned at Santry Garda Station in Dublin.
