Hundreds of people planning to return to Ireland for Christmas are facing delays due to thick fog at London Airports.

Hundreds of people planning to return to Ireland for Christmas are facing delays due to thick fog at London Airports.

Several flights to Dublin, Cork and Belfast have been cancelled at Heathrow, Gatwick and London City Airports.

Operators said that customers are being offered alternate flights or refunds.
