Apartment fire claims young woman's life in Mayo
A woman in her early 20s has died in a fire at an apartment in Newport, Co Mayo, in the early hours of this morning.
The blaze broke out on the town's Main Street at around 4.30am.
The cause is currently under investigation and the scene has been preserved for technical examination by forensic experts.
