Gas leak causes house explosion in Co. Dublin

The father and his three children, injured in an explosion at their house in South Dublin today have been transferred from Tallaght Hospital in Dublin this evening.

The father and his three children, injured in an explosion at their house in South Dublin today have been transferred from Tallaght Hospital in Dublin this evening.

The man has been transferred to St James' Hospital and his two daughters and son have been moved to Temple Street and Crumlin Hospitals.

They remain in a critical condition.

The explosion, which is being linked to a gas leak, occurred at their house in Glendoher Close in Rathfarnham just before 11am this morning.

Gardaí are investigating.
