Gun and drugs seized during north Dublin searches
Gardaí in Dublin have arrested a man and a woman following the seizure of a gun, ammunition and drugs during a series of searches in the north of the city this morning.
An Uzi sub-machine gun was discovered along with ammunition, 10,000 ecstasy tablets and other drug paraphernalia during a search of a car in the Donaghmede area.
Three kilos of a drug-mixing agent were also seized during an earlier raid on a house in the area.
A man in his early 30s and a woman in her mid-20s are being questioned in connection with the seizures.
