A man is due to appear in court this morning following the seizure of cannabis worth almost €250,000 in Tallaght, Dublin.

A man is due to appear in court this morning following the seizure of cannabis worth almost €250,000 in Tallaght, Dublin.

A 37-year-old man was arrested yesterday afternoon during the course of a planned operation at Russell Downs in Jobstown.

He has since been charged in connection with the drugs under Section Two of the Criminal Justice Act.

The man is expected before Dublin District Court this morning.
