The Old Firm clash which was postponed as a mark of respect following the death of Motherwell captain Phil O’Donnell has been rearranged for January 23.
Celtic’s home game against Rangers in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League had originally been scheduled for January 2.
The new date will have to be moved again if either team has a Scottish Cup replay.
Celtic face Stirling Albion in the cup on Saturday, and Rangers take on East Stirlingshire on Sunday.
New dates have also been set for the two fixtures involving Motherwell which have been called off since the death of O'Donnell.
Mark McGhee’s side will now play Celtic at Fir Park on Wednesday, January 30, and travel to Hibernian on Wednesday, March 5.
Gretna’s match against St Mirren, postponed from its original date of January 2 to allow Motherwell supporters to pay tribute to O’Donnell at Fir Park - Gretna’s temporary home – will be played on Tuesday, March 11.
