Minister to launch Science Week today

Science Week will be launched in Dublin today by the Science Minister Conor Lenihan.

Science Week will be launched in Dublin today by the Science Minister Conor Lenihan.

More than 450 events involving thousands of people are scheduled to take place around the country during the event which takes place this year from Sunday until November 14.

It targets children, parents, secondary-school pupils and teachers, encouraging them to get interested in science and how it can be applied to everyday life.
