Woman dies in two-car collision near New Ross

A woman has died after the car she was driving collided with another vehicle just outside New Ross in Co Wexford yesterday evening.

A woman has died after the car she was driving collided with another vehicle just outside New Ross in Co Wexford yesterday evening.

The accident happened at Ballinabolla at around 6pm.

The dead woman, who is believed to have been in her 40s, has not yet been named.

The male driver of the other car was also injured in the crash and taken to Wexford General Hospital for treatment.
