Man questioned in relation to Ballymun death

Gardaí are questioning a man in his 20s connection with the discovery of body in Ballymun in Dublin today.

Gardaí are questioning a man in his 20s connection with the discovery of body in Ballymun in Dublin today.

The man is being held at Santry Garda Station, and it is understood that he is also from the Ballymun area.

The body of the 28-year-old victim was found in the stairwell of a flat complex on the Shangan Road.

A post-mortem is being carried out by Deputy State Pathologist Doctor Michael Curtis.

Gardaí were unable to confirm if the victim’s serious head injuries were a result of being shot.
