A poll published today shows that 1-in-4 young men here have been victims of street crime at night.

A poll published today shows that 1-in-4 young men here have been victims of street crime at night.

The Sunday World poll shows that nearly 250,000 people under the age of 35 say they have been attacked on the country's streets.

The figures also reveal that violent street crime has risen by 50% in the past year.
