Dentist inspection scheme launched
A new scheme was launched today by the Health Service Executive to ensure dentists providing free treatment to patients are up to scratch.
Up to 80% of the population is entitled to free or subsidised dental treatment.
The Examining Dentist Scheme will employ 20 dentists to carry out random examinations on patients to ensure the work is of high quality.
