Gardai in Limerick have seized drugs with a street value of £200,000.

Gardai in Limerick have seized drugs with a street value of £200,000.

Detectives stopped a man, out walking in St Mary’s Park in the city and discovered 20kgs of cannabis.

The 40-year-old is being questioned at Henry Street Garda Station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.

He can be held for up to seven days without charge.
