All faults fixed according to ESB

The ESB Network has said that full power has been restored to all homes affected by storm damage last night.

The energy supplier claimed crews worked throughout the day to fix supply for around 2,000 customers across the country.

Strong gusts and rain caused damage to power lines with the west and parts of the south-east worst affected.

ESB added electricity has now been fully restored to homes and businesses in these areas.
