A bus has crashed in central Germany, killing at least four people and injuring another 38, police said.
The crash occurred near the town of Bad Hersfeld, about 60 miles north east of Frankfurt, after a car collided with the bus, causing it to veer off the road and down a slope, a police spokesman said.
Of the injured, 18 were in a serious condition and 20 suffered minor injuries, spokesman Thomas Rodemer said.
“We can’t say at this stage whether anyone is trapped under the bus,” he added.
The vehicle was carrying a group of senior citizens from southern Germany, Mr Rodemer said.
