Gardaí in Co Meath are renewing their appeal for witnesses to a fatal collision in Oldcastle in the early hours of last Sunday.

Gardaí in Co Meath are renewing their appeal for witnesses to a fatal collision in Oldcastle in the early hours of last Sunday.

A 22-year-old man died and a 24-year-old is in hospital after the crash which happened at Fennor Upper on the Oldcastle to Virginia Road at around 4am.

Gardai are appealing for witnesses or to anyone who travelled on the R195, between Oldcastle and Virginia, in the early hours of Sunday, particularly between 3.30am and 4.15am to contact Kells Garda Station or the Garda confidential line.
