The latter is joined from Richard Fahey’s North Yorkshire yard by Hinton Admiral.
Borderlescott, the 2006 Stewards’ Cup scorer, again takes his chance having last year finished a close second to Zidane.
David Nicholls, who has won the race with Gift Horse (2005) and Taysee (2000), launches a four-pronged assault with Buachaill Dona, Northern Fling, Machinist and Something.
William Haggas has three engagements in the six-furlong heat – King’s Apostle, Conquest and Fyodor – while other interesting entries include Mac Gille Eoin, Sohraab and Beaver Patrol.
