One dead, one critically hurt after Meath crash

A 26-year-old man died earlier today following a road crash in Co Meath.

A 26-year-old man died earlier today following a road crash in Co Meath.

The single-vehicle accident happened in the early hours of this morning in the Warrenstown area.

A second man was critically injured in the crash, and he is being treated at James Connolly Memorial Hospital in Blanchardstown in Dublin.

Gardaí in Ashbourne are appealing for witnesses to the accident to come forward.
