Shane Warne is hopeful of making Australia's team for the first VB Series final against England.
The leg-spinner dislocated his right shoulder playing against England in December, but showed no ill effects after bowling in a state match in Hobart over the weekend.
Warne revealed after a medical: "I'm feeling good and when we get to Sydney tomorrow to prepare for the first VB Series final, we will speak to Ricky Ponting, the selectors and consult with the team medics again before a decision is made on my availability."
Team physiotherapist Errol Alcott added: "He has undergone some treatment and I have performed a clinical assessment of the shoulder's function. It's looking good."
Australian paceman Glenn McGrath will join the squad in Sydney, where he will also consult the team's medical staff, following his recent layoff with a back injury.
