Ireland trains 22 foreign soldiers in peacekeeping

Soldiers from 14 different countries are receiving training in Ireland ahead of their deployment as United Nations peacekeepers.

Soldiers from 14 different countries are receiving training in Ireland ahead of their deployment as United Nations peacekeepers.

The 22 soldiers are attending the Defence Force’s UN training school at the Curragh.

They are being trained to deal with situations which may arise on peacekeeping duty.
