Bank officials seek assurances from NIB

The Irish Bank Officials Association is holding talks with the management of National Irish Bank over sale plans.

The IBOA is seeking clarification from NIB over what contingency plans are being put in place to protect staff.

The association is also seeking guarantees that there will be no compulsory redundancies or branch closures.
