The ISEQ index of Irish shares was valued at 2,179.08 at 11am this morning, a fall of 10.89 points or 0.5%.

The ISEQ index of Irish shares was valued at 2,179.08 at 11am this morning, a fall of 10.89 points or 0.5%.

Movement was very minor across all stocks, though the changes that did occur were mostly in the downward direction.

All of the main banks were slightly down. AIB fell 7c to 59c, Bank of Ireland lost 2c to 36 while Irish Life & Permanent was down 1c to €1.25.

Elsewhere, Paddy Power dropped 14c to €10.14 while Elan and Dragon Oil both saw their value decrease by 10c, to €5.61 and €1.75 respectively.
