Mel C says she wants to settle down and become a mum. The former Spice Girl believes she is mature enough to become a mother though she has no desire to get married.

Mel, who has been dating 37-year-old building company director Thomas Starr for three years, also says she is finally happy with how she looks.

It's only recently that she stopped worrying about her weight and says that age has played a big part in that process. However, she added that "it never stops hurting when people are critical".

Her knee ligament injury while filming TV reality show 'The Games' was a turning point as it made her so much more appreciative of her body. "I realised I was just lucky to have a body that works," she said.
