Fine Gael’s Jimmy Deenihan has been elected in the Kerry North constituency.

Fine Gael’s Jimmy Deenihan has been elected in the Kerry North constituency.

He exceeded the quota of 9,829 with 12,697 first preference votes.

The total valid poll was 39,313.

Sinn Fein’s Martin Ferris received 8,030 first preference votes.
