A 27-year-old woman has died from injuries she sustained in a road accident in Co Sligo yesterday morning.

A 27-year-old woman has died from injuries she sustained in a road accident in Co Sligo yesterday morning.

The woman was seriously injured when the car she was driving collided with a lorry at Corrowntawy in Ballymote.

She died of her injuries in hospital last night, bringing to 155 the number of people killed on Ireland’s roads so far this year.
