Gardai are investigating a drive-by shooting which took place in Limerick city this morning.

Gardai are investigating a drive-by shooting which took place in Limerick city this morning.

It is reported two men in a motorbike fired a shot at a group of people at Nicholas St near the courthouse.

Witnesses report hearing one shot being fired and seeing two men fleeing on a motorbike.

No one was injured and no arrests have been made.
