Police in North Belfast are investigating an incident which left a 50-year-old man critically ill in hospital.

Police in North Belfast are investigating an incident which left a 50-year-old man critically ill in hospital.

At around 2am, police received reports of an altercation in the Brae Hill Park area, and discovered a man with head and leg injuries.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital.

A man in his 40’s was arrested at the scene and a car has been taken away for forensic examination.
