Transport Minister Séamus Brennan has dismissed concerns about debt repayments at Aer Rianta and how they may be affected by any break-up of the company.
There had been concerns that creditors will seek accelerated payments on the company's debts of over €400m.
Speaking before voting on the Airports Bill began in the Seanad, Minister Brennan said creditors have been kept aware of the plans and have voiced no objections.
