Kenny: Europe must 'back off' from our Corporation tax rate

The Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny has said it would be "a serious breach of trust" if Germany and France continue their attacks on Ireland's Corporation tax rate.

The Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny has said it would be "a serious breach of trust" if Germany and France continue their attacks on Ireland's Corporation tax rate.

Mr Kenny has also warned banks guaranteed by the State that they will have to follow Government policy.

But with France and Germany back on the attack of our 12.5% corporation tax rate, the Fine Gael leader isn't impressed.

He said Ireland gave the EU the Lisbon Treaty and they better now "back off".

And as the row over debates rolls on, Mr Kenny is adamant he won't be at the debate next Tuesday night in TV3, adding his empty chair can represent the voice of those forced to emigrate from this country.
