Keane to train with All Blacks

Ireland soccer legend Roy Keane will spend four days with the All Blacks rugby team this summer.

Keane is working for a UEFA professional coaching licence and the course requires its students to spend a certain amount of time in another sport.

So, Keane has made use of his contact with former New Zealand soccer coach Ricki Herbert to spend some time with the Blacks.

"What level of involvement I can have, just watching training or whatever, I don't know," he said.

"I have the green light to have three or four days with them. I don't know if I will be allowed into any team talks. I'll keep my head down and just watch them, try to plug into what they are always about."

Keane will be in New Zealand around the time that they will play Ireland and England in their summer tests.
