Govt encouraging travelling students to be safe

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade is encouraging Leaving Certificate students planning to celebrate their results, by travelling abroad, to make sure their trip passes off safely.

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade is encouraging Leaving Certificate students planning to celebrate their results, by travelling abroad, to make sure their trip passes off safely.

They are advising students to take out comprehensive travel insurance as well as making sure they have a European Health Insurance Card, formerly the E111 form.

Students are advised to behave sensibly and avoid taking risks.
