Body find sparks Garda investigation
The body of a 34-year-old man was discovered today in a house in Co Mayo.
Detectives in Castlebar are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of the man, whose was found in the property on Upper Thomas Street shortly after 1.30pm today.
A garda spokesman said the remains have been removed to Mayo General Hospital where a post mortem exam will be carried out tomorrow.
The scene has also been cordoned off for a forensic examination.
