Susan Boyle is in negotiations to become a coach on 'The X Factor'.
The show's host Dermot O'Leary has revealed the 48-year-old 'Britain's Got Talent' runner-up is being lined up for a guest mentor role when the reality show starts in August.
If she accepts the job, Susan will coach finalists in the over-25s group, and sing alongside them in a special duet show.
Dermot is a huge fan of Susan – who finished second to dance troupe Diversity in the final of the talent show last month – and thinks she will inspire older contestants.
He said: "Susan was brilliant. I think finishing second was probably the best thing that could have happened to her. She will inspire people.
"I think we all need to be ashamed of ourselves in the sense that as a public we all did look at her and go: 'She's not good looking, she can't possibly have a good voice.' I'm glad that she did so well."
Susan is also reportedly being lined up for a role on 'America's Got Talent'.
The Scottish native became an international sensation after her first audition for ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ was shown in April.
She has, however, struggled to cope with her fame and was admitted to rehab after collapsing from exhaustion following the show's final.
