Northern Ireland’s Organised Crime Task Force today seized a major illegal fuel laundering plant.

Northern Ireland’s Organised Crime Task Force today seized a major illegal fuel laundering plant.

The plant was discovered in the border village of Crossmaglen, in Co Armagh. One man was arrested.

The plant, with a potential to launder 150,000 litres of fuel a week, could evade stg£75,000 of duty a week. About 17,500 litres of laundered fuel was also seized.
