Elderly man dies after being hit by car

A man in his 80s has died after being hit by a car in Newcastle, Co Down, last night.

A man in his 80s has died after being hit by a car in Newcastle, Co Down, last night.

The accident happened on the Dundrum Road shortly after 9pm.

The driver of the car - a man in his 30s - was not injured.
