Lostprophets were double winners at the Kerrang! Awards.
The Welsh group were named Best British Band and also scooped the Best Album award for Liberation Transmission last night.
AC/DC frontman Angus Young was crowned Kerrang! Legend. His band graced the first ever cover of the magazine back in 1981.
Kerrang! Editor Paul Brannigan called them “one of the most important and influential rock bands in history”.
Rockers Muse won Best Live Band while Bullet For My Valentine picked up the Best Single award for Tears Don’t Fall.
Best Band On The Planet went to My Chemical Romance.
The Prodigy won the Spirit of Independence award and Placebo were honoured with the Classic Songwriter award.
Sheffield band Bring Me The Horizon were named Best British Newcomers.
The awards, voted by magazine readers, were held at The Brewery in east London and hosted by former Stereophonics drummer Stuart Cable.
Kerrang! Is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.
