Rory McIlroy has fought his way to the third round of the World Match Play Championship in Arizona.
The Co Down teenager was trailing Hunter Mahan by two shots with six holes to play last night, but he pulled off a storming finish to win the tie by one shot.
McIlroy was hoping to set up a clash with Tiger Woods in the third round, but the world number one lost out to South Africa's Tim Clark in his first tournament since winning the US Open last year.
