An investigation is underway after a man died in suspicious circumstances in West Dublin.

An investigation is underway after a man died in suspicious circumstances in West Dublin.

The body of the 26-year-old was discovered with a stab wound to his neck at Ellenwood close in Hartstown around 1.30am this morning. The man was rushed to Blanchardstown hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Gardai say that they have not arrested anyone yet and that no weapons have been found.

However, the scene has been preserved for technical examination.
