Customs arrest man after seizing €300k of drugs at Dublin Port

Customs officers arrested a man after they seized 15kgs of cannabis at Dublin Port on Saturday.

The drugs are thought to be worth about €300,000.

A British man was detained after Revenue's sniffer dog 'Holly' gave a positive reaction to a vehicle that came off the late evening ferry from Holyhead.

When customs x-rayed the vehicle, it was found to contain a false floor under which the drugs were hidden.
