The Oireachtas ethics committee is expected to meet next week to discuss allegations surrounding Fianna Fáil TD Beverley Cooper-Flynn.

Reports last week claimed Ms Cooper-Flynn had helped her father, former Fianna Fáil minister Padraig Flynn, to invest money in offshore accounts for the purpose of avoiding tax.

Opposition parties have demanded action in response to the reports.

Environment Minister Martin Cullen said this morning that the allegations should be dealt with at the Mahon Tribunal and nowhere else.
