A Ryanair flight to Glasgow was forced to return to Dublin Airport this morning after developing an oil leak on take-off.

Flight FR-772, which took off at 7am, was carrying 123 passengers.

The oil leak is the second safety scare on Ryanair planes this week after two tyres on one of their aircraft burst on landing at Manchester Airport on Wednesday.

Company chief executive Michael O’Leary said the two incidents are unrelated and he stressed Ryanair’s commitment to safety.
